I’m spending 30 days in Europe next month, travelling through France, Italy, Germany, and the UK. I realise, to the fullest intent, that it is a luxury to escape from one’s everyday life for a whole month and travel anywhere, let alone Europe. It was hard to believe that this trip would actually happen – especially when the familiar, yet monochrome life in Hyde Park was all I allowed myself to feel. But now, as I am frantically jotting down names of unfamiliar streets and printing hostel reservations, the trip finally seems real. Yes, it is happening, and I am going to make the most of it.
Chicago – Paris – Lyon – Annecy – Geneva – Munich – Freiburg – Strasbourg – Paris – London – Frankfurt – Chicago.
Europe, I’m ready.
