Hello, I am Kathy, a consultant by day and writer by night.
At age 9, my mother gifted me with a copy of Maxim Gorky’s Childhood, In the World, My Universities. It was the single greatest thing that ever happened to me. Gorky’s writing shook me at the core, had me think about the beauty, fragility, and unpredictability of life, but most of all – it taught me the power of the written word. I could read his words and utterly forget myself – and a new world filled with the joy of reading and writing was unveiled. That original copy of the book, a Chinese translation of the Russian classic, still retains that coveted position by my bedside all these years later.
These days, writing is my love, my therapy, and my passion. Thank you for reading.
